Weekend for Women Conference Series 

The first Weekend for Women Conference was held in May 2010 in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina.  Due to the overwhelming response of the conference (the first ever national conference for women with diabetes), it has now become the WEEKEND FOR WOMEN CONFERENCE SERIES.  Future plans include providing the Conference in various locations throughout the US, eventually reaching into other countries.  The purpose of the Conference Series is to provide women with diabetes an opportunity to connect with other women with diabetes, learn new tactics to manage diabetes, attend sessions on gender-specific issues related to diabetes, and even partake in some female indulgences (these activities vary at each conference). 

Dates and locations for upcoming Weekend for Women Conferences will be posted below when available.  Please check back often.  Space is liimited to ensure a rich, intimate experience for all attendees.  Speical Note: The 2010 Conference filled up within 8 weeks and over 80 women were placed on the waiting list!  If you see a date that you can attend, please register as soon as possible.  A limited number of cholarships (reserved for those who have a true financial hardship and demonstrate an understanding of the value of "sisterhood") will also be available when the conference is posted below.
