What punishment we as ladies can subject ourselves to.... I am watching the Victoria Secret's show. I do enjoy the bizarre outfits and the music. At least these girls seem to have lots of energy. That I don't remember.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Mine wasn't all bad but we did have a family emergency. My daughter was slicing a ham while I was preparing Paula Deen's Ooey Gooey Pumpkin Cake. She sliced her finger and required 7 stitches. All I could see was blood blood and more blood. I am handing her paper towel after paper towel and telling her to hold it up. She is crying because it is hurting. My hubby walks in and I ask him to take a look. He is Mr Calm, Cool and Collected. When he stretches his eyes and said he is going to get our son-in-law, I knew it was bad. Poor thing, but she is coping well. Not a good way, but it did curb my appetite. I also left out a couple of ingredients for the ooey gooey cake, but it was still good. I also slung batter all over the kitchen when i hit the wrong button to remove the beaters. There goes that button thing again. I always seems to choose the wrong button.
I decided not to check my blood sugar levels during the holiday. I did chase my Grandson around for several days for my exercise. He always seems to come up with some new exercises for me. If I worked with him everyday, i would be in much much better shape.
I am hoping not to have to work 4 out of 8 days on vacation next week. I wasn't happy. It would be great to have someone back me up and climb out of their box. It seems that people just don't try to do any troubleshooting before they give me a call. Whats up with that? oh and i only wanted to push the button for retirement 3 times while on vacation..... Tomorrow is the last day I will have that option. I want to, but am afraid to fall off the cliff, yep, no courage any more. Somebody kick me over the side of the building, please, but make sure I have pushed the button first.
Take care all and have a great week. Bless our troops and their families during this holiday season.
