Celebration of Strength Dinner Program at the 2011 Weekend for Women Conference

The first Weekend for Women Conference was held in May 2010 in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina.  Due to the success of this conference and the conferences that followed, DiabetesSisters is pleased to offer the ANNUAL WEEKEND FOR WOMEN CONFERENCE.  DiabetesSisters has held Weekend for Women Conference on the East Coast (Raleigh, NC) and on the West Coast (San Diego, CA).  No matter where the conference is held, it always draws women of all ages with all types of diabetes from many different states.    

What to expect at a Weekend for Women Conference:

• + Educational and motivational presentations from acclaimed diabetes experts and advocates 
• + Presentations on topics of specific interest to women with diabetes 
• + Many opportunities to pamper your soul and to feel pampered 
• + Unique opportunities to interact and connect with other women who are living with diabetes 
• + Fun and healthy fitness activities for women of all endurance levels and ages
• + An interactive Health Expo with informational exhibits from national and local diabetes-related companies and organizations 
• + Healthy and delicious meals and snacks 
• + A Lunch/Dinner Program devoted to celebrating the strength displayed by women with diabetes, recognizing each woman individually
