Hair Band to Hero (Marci) |
|
March 14, 2010 Once upon a time ago, long before I was anyone’s grandma, I was a BIG fan of 80’s metal bands. As many of my fellow children of the 60’s who were coming of age in the 80’s; we just could not get enough of bands of men with bleached big hair, who wore mascara, ripped belly shirts, and lycra-spandex leggings in various shades of metallic or animal print. If you are reading this, and just don’t get it – guess you had to be there…..

February 20, 2010 Most of us can not escape February without thoughts of hearts….usually, hearts, flowers, romance, and chocolate. I want all of my diabetessisters to come to think of February a little differently.

January 3, 2010 Happy New Year to all my Diabetessisters! We have a very exciting year ahead of us ladies, especially our upcoming Weekend for Women. I hope each and every one of you makes it here to beautiful North Carolina in May for this historic event. I would like to introduce myself, in the hopes that each of you reading this blog will take a moment to introduce yourselves to me. My name is Marci Williams and I live in Greensboro NC with my husband of two years, Gerald. We are very blessed that my children and their families live here as well; which makes spending lots of time spoiling our two grandchildren very fun and easy to do. I have worked for the same place almost twelve years and about six months ago we became fully integrated into FedEx Express – Latin America Caribbean.
